Why the hiatus and where’s the portfolio?

Part of the reason for the absence was that I accepted a full time job as the Creative Director at Cray Supercomputers. I also decided that when I wasn’t working, I wanted to spend my personal time on non-technology related projects – basically, I wanted to get my hands dirty with paint and take some time to explore the great outdoors among other things.

In addition, I saw shutting this domain down for a while as an opportunity to fall off the spammers email radar and to my amazement it actually worked. Here’s to hoping it stays that way.

You may be thinking – there’s no content. I’m aware. I’m not quite sure what I want to do with this space whether to make it a blog, a portfolio, a tutorial site or just a series of links to other things – I do know that I'll decide over the next few months and get to work late this fall after the rain starts and before the snow falls. In essence, my goal is to create a site that has purpose by year’s end. So please stop back and with any luck it might even contain the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. For now, I can tell you one thing - the answer won't be “42.”
